Kindle Direct Publishing | SELF LOVE BOOK FOR MY DAUGHTER

So today, I'm writing about a Self Love book I wrote for my daughter and decided to publish on Amazon Kindle Direct.  My goal was to have this ready for my daughter's birthday party, which will be at the Camp Store for the Bluey Experience later this month.  Which btw, if you can, definitely check out the Bluey Experience at the Camp Store, it's AMAZING!

In my last blog post I shared the story and the reasons I wrote it, and now you can check it out on Amazon in the link below!

In this blog post, I actually want to talk about the self publishing process on Amazon because it was so easy and quick, that I had to share my experience.

So Amazon, allows you to publish a book on their Amazon Platform via Amazon Kindle Direct.  I thought that was ideal, as Amazon is known for selling various products and delivering them swiftly.

The process to publish a book on Amazon is simple and easy, I believe I spent a total of 3 hours doing it, I actually divided the time I believe between 3 days, the platform allows you to save information of where you left off, and then you can just pick right back up, when you have time.  I thought that was extremely convenient and efficient for people that are busy.

In addition, Amazon Kindle Direct provides a lot of options, they provide creative templates for those who want to create content for their book title etc.  This way if you have your book written, and don't have much creative work that needs to be done, you can use Kindle Create for the last bit of the creative content needed for your book, which is a huge money saver.  The Kindle Create Platform also allows you to duplicate your pages so that they flow properly on a Kindle and or when printing, which is ideal for individuals who have a bit more creative content in their book.   In addition, you can create a pen name when publishing, so if you don't want to use your actual name, you can create a pen name, or use your brand name.  It also offers free ISBN numbers, which I feel is super convenient for those who want to make things as efficient as possible.  I didn't expect anything less from Amazon, it's actually another reason I chose to publish on their platform.  I feel they truly are leaders and forward thinking, and are often ahead of the trend.  From having worked in retail and watching that brand, I feel they always figure out a way to excel and provide the best options in the categories that they offer.  So I'm extremely pleased with the publishing process with Kindle Direct Publishing on Amazon, and just had to share my experience.  With that being said, I did not think it would be so easy to publish a story I made for my daughter, so I'm definitely thankful for this service.  I feel the percentage they take is also fair, given everything they provide.  In addition, the fact that you can even sell it on their Amazon Retail Platform via their vast customer base is really just amazing!

Hope you have time to check out the Story I published for my daughter, and if you have a book you would like to publish, definitely check out Amazon's Self Publishing Service!
